Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.

Story

We are running 26.2 miles. This is a long way and will require a lots of cold winter running to even make it to the start line.

This will be Jamie's third marathon and Dan's second. However, this time we are fundraising. We have chosen to fundraise for Brain Tumour Research in memory of Nigel Barber (Jamie's father) who died of a brain tumour in 2013.

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer, yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease. We are fundraising for Brain Tumour Research as they are the only national charity dedicated to funding long-term, sustainable research in the UK. Please help us fund the fight.

For extra information take a look at the parliamentary inquiry on funding for research into brain tumours.
