As many of you are aware, my step-daughter, Ella Granville has learning difficulties and a severe speech & language disorder. Ella attends St Catherine's School, Ventnor in the beautiful Isle of Wight. Both Nicky & I adore the island and spend much of our time there with Ella.

St Catherine's believe that all children and young people with communication impairments should fulfil their potential in life - but they desperately require funds. 

I have previously run 6 marathons, but when I was younger, slimmer and fitter! At the ripe old age of 58 I have decided that I had one more marathon run left  in me, and what better charity to support than St Catherine's School. 

I am training hard both in the Isle of Wight and in the snow in Cumbria.. Do please dig deep and support ELLA GRANVILLE!

Post Marathon

I am so grateful for everyone's support. Completed the journey 4hrs 51mins a time which I am pleased about. So thank you all again.
