The Winchester Churches Nightshelter Sleepers Team
A group of Directors and Staff from Winchester Churches Nightshelter will be sleeping out under the stars on Friday 15th May 2009 to raise money for the work of the Winchester Churches Nightshelter and also for Trinity Winchester day centre (with whom we work closely).
If you cannot join us (and up to 500 others) by sleeping out yourself on the night, we would be very grateful if you would sponsor our Nightshelter team below.
All non-sleepers as well as sleepers are warmly invited to come along on 15th May from 7.30pm to the War Memorial outside Winchester Cathedral, to enjoy the early part of the evening and support the event. There will be a big BBQ provided by the army, special soup presented by Raymond Blanc's Brasserie, performance by the Chesil theatre actors, and various presentations by celebrities, the Bishop of Winchester, the Mayor and Deputy Mayor (both of whom are also kindly sleeping out), and others.
Feel up to the Sleep Out Challenge yourself? Individually or as part of your own family, church, school, or company team? Then please register as soon as possible to take part - just go to our event website www.bigsleepout.org for full details. You can then create your own Justgiving page to gain sponsorship for your team or individually too. Please email admin@bigsleepout.org if you have any questions.
We are very grateful to the Dean and Chapter and all the staff at Winchester Cathedral for all their kind support in helping us host this event in the Cathedral grounds.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Winchester Churches Nightshelter and Trinity Winchester gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Please sponsor us if you can. Very many thanks for all your help.
