Our staff have worked tirelessly through extreme pressures during the surge of Covid and continue to meet all challenges that come their way. 

Often work is so intense it can feel hard to get away and have a healthy snack for a break. 

I want to make sure that our staff can always get access to a healthy snack and drink during a shift. 

As such I'm raising money to ensure our Acute and Emergency staff can always access water fountains, tea and coffee and fresh fruit within the department and during a shift and at no cost to them. 

It's not much, but a small token of my thanks to our heroes. 

I had planned to run the Chester marathon but due to Covid this has been cancelled, as such I'm now going to run the same distance in my local area instead.
