Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever.Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.

I am completing the memory walk and raising awareness that just because they can’t remember doesn’t mean their memories shouldn’t be cherished. 

Although I haven’t lost a loved one to Alzheimer’s, my grandad is at the late stages of this cruel disease, and watching him slowly deteriorate is an experience I do not wish on anyone, so we need a cure or at least an answer. This is why raising money for a charity that puts so much effort and time into research and family/loved ones support is vital, in allowing the cruel journey to be as best it can be.
