OMG! I'm the kind of person who cries if I leave the hair dresser with a bad cut, I have spent most of today sulking over a broken nail how on earth will I cope with a bald head! Beyond that I can even begin to contemplate what 2014 might hold for me. Happy New Year to you all. x

I guess I should start by explaining who Frieddie is. Freddie is a large 4cm Cavernoma in the middle of my brain. Cavernoma's are a cluster of malformed blood vessels that look like raspberries, which can grow and leak causing many neurological disorders. Mine has now caused me one too many strokes, vision loss and too many hospital stays. So after my 6th stroke and many discussions with an amazing brain surgeon, my friends, family and boyfriend it has been decided I will have an operation to remove Freddie in the hope it will stop these strokes. Freddie is being evicted and I think he knows it as he has been quiet this month! In my journey I discovered Cavernoma Alliance UK and they have been a lifeline to me. To finally find and talk to others with this condition has been wonderful. To hear their stories and journeys has helped me come to terms with my own. So I would like to give back and raise some money for them. Even though I do not need to shave my head for surgery I have decided I would like to. I know Christmas is coming up but any amount no matter how small can mean the world of difference to a small charity like CAUK and the awareness is so important for rare disease sufferers. I have teamed up with, Espiritu Salon and Spa, Battlers Green Farm, Radlett who have Kindly offered to do the headshave for me. I will then donate the hair to Little Princess Trust. So 2 amazing charities can benefit.
