I was incredibly excited and extremely honoured to have been offered a charity space in the 2020 London Marathon. Sadly because of the current situation the event didn’t go ahead as planned but I’m back on the training schedule now and am running my little socks off  

Running the London Marathon is something I’ve always wanted to do and I have now had my space confirmed for 2021 and I will now be running in the event on Sunday October 3rd.  😱 I CAN DO THIS!!!!!! 💪 🏃‍♀️ 

I’m not going to lie, I’m absolutely petrified..... I mean who in their right mind wants to run 26.2 miles?!??? TWENTYSIX POINT TWO MILES...... in one go!!! It seemed like such a good idea at the time!!! I keep correcting people when they say “it’s 26 miles” ........ DO NOT FORGET THE POINT TWO  🤣🤣

I visited one of the residential and day centres (before Covid) and it was one of the most amazing places I’ve ever visited!! For the children they have phenomenal technology, sensory toys, vibration/music areas and all sorts of items to help them learn, develop and thrive. 

The adults centre blew me away! They do art classes, cookery, music, to name a few. They truly help the young ladies and gentlemen who go to live life to the fullest and give them proper useful life skills. One girl there was proudly showing off a dress she had made herself!! I was well impressed.
