Rhys, our beautiful, fun and happy son was diagnosed with a extremely rare and very nasty cancer in 2010 when he was 10 years old. Throughout his brave battle against this cancer and the operations and treatments, both he and we were supported so terrifically by a relatively small (but growing) local cancer fund. Rhys, despite the pain and discomfort, was able to have many happy and fun times with the assistance of the Children With Cancer Fund. Rhys is no longer with us and yet still his four sisters and both my husband and I continue to receive support from these very hard working and lovely people. Whilst it is extremely hard for me, emotionally, I am proud to raise money for them to help other families in the same wonderful way that we have been.
