Walk for Autism Research at Swinley Forest, Bracknell · 12 October 2008 ·

We are the UK’s leading autism research charity. Our mission is to create breakthroughs that enable all autistic people to live happier, healthier, longer lives. We do this by funding research, shaping policy and working with autistic people to understand their needs.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

As many of you know autism is a key part of our lives. Autism Speaks are working hard to raise funds to support much needed research into the causes of autism. From increasing understanding comes the hope for improvements in the lives of those diagnosed with the condition.

Both Harry and David will be walking  5 miles with us on the 12th. For Harry it is an adventure, for David a challenge. Their Grandad Alf (with his plastic knees) is also walking in our team, continuing to support his Grandsons where ever he can. We would all be very grateful if you would be kind enough to make a donation to help us help Harry and David and those who live with autism.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Autism Speaks gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
