Thames Path Challenge 2014 · 13 September 2014 to 14 September 2014 ·

Ripple Effect is creating a wave of change in rural Africa. Our farmers learn, grow and sell more, releasing the potential in their land and lives. Then they pass the knowledge on, creating a wave of change across rural Africa.

Why Send a Cow?

It’s a charity that:

•offers really practical support to help families in Africa out of poverty.
•provides livestock, seeds, tools and training in organic farming practices
•delivers support to help communities work better together to change their future.

We're walking as part of ‘The Full Farmyard’ (justgiving.com/thefullfarmyard) team from Maidenhead Bridge Rotary Club (with a guest appearance from a member of Windsor St George Rotary Club). We’d love to raise £2,000 to buy a whole farmyard (and support) for a community. So any donation you can make would be very much appreciated – as an example, just £7 would buy a chicken, £14 a piglet and £30 a goat.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
