Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My daughter Keya loves polar bears. I had signed up to run this marathon and she immediately told me that I should run to help polar bears. I know most of their loss of habitat is coming from global warming and to tackle that requires changes in our behaviour. There are people on the ground working on research, education and outreach to help us know what to do to save these beautiful creatures.

Keya has written this amazing poem (that personally made my heart melt):

Kind creatures,
Seeking adventure,
Then comes a family,
Warm little bears,
Snuggling with their parent,
Their white soft fur, as soft as can be,
Walking up a mountain of snow,
Their mum teaching them how to hunt,
Would you want them to go?
