Challenge yourself to tackle one of Scotland's highest peaks, raising money for WaterAid’s work in Rwanda – known as the land of a thousand hills - helping to make clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene a normal part of daily life.

Story

Myself and a team of friends from North Lanarkshire MunroBaggers are tackling the Munro Derry Cairngorm in the Cairngorms National park near Braemar as part of the Water Aid Munro Challenge on Saturday 08th June which is fundraising to deliver projects bringing clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene to communities in Rwanda.

WaterAid is an international not-for-profit, determined to make clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene normal for everyone, everywhere within a generation. Only by tackling these three essentials in ways that last can people change their lives for good. Clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene should be a normal part of everyone’s daily life. Without all three, people can’t live dignified, healthy lives. With all three, they can unlock their potential, break free from poverty and change their lives for good.
