Steven's No Booze for 2022

Steven Wilkinson is raising money for British Thyroid Foundation

No Booze for 2022 · 1 January 2022

The British Thyroid Foundation provides information and support to help people better understand and manage their condition. We also fund and support vital research into thyroid disease to improve treatments and outcomes for thyroid patients both now and in the future.

Story

My wife became aware of a lump in her throat. Three months later 3 days before Christmas Day the surgeons removed her thyroid (Anna is home recovering well) The first question to ourselves was what does a thyroid even do? We came across BritishThyroidFoundation which is a charity funded organisation that provides a lot of information and support. Anna wanted people to be more aware of their thyroid because we are always told to check our bodies for many things but the thyroid is never mentioned.

The challenge I have set myself is without  doubt the hardest thing I could do. Holidays, birthdays, sunny afternoons at a bbq ... Christmas!! See my point ... Help me by helping BTF. Thank you x
