No more dreads · 3 February 2018

At the Archer Project, we support adults experiencing homelessness in Sheffield and the wider region. Our Project facilitates a range of services and activities to help individuals progress away from homelessness, to live more meaningful and fulfilling lives.

Story

UPDATE: My original stretch goal I thought I was completely safe from has been reached! You're all awesome. And I hate you. But there's still time left, and people I KNOW were holding off to make absolutely sure I went bald however much it took. There have also been requests for video. So...

New goal 1) Another £255 (total of £1,020)
You all get exclusive access to a video of the big event via private Facebook group, or alternative if necessary. BUT. NOT. LIVE.

New goal 2) Another £510 (Total of £1,275)
As above, but live broadcast from the chair as it's done.

Time to dig deep people :)

It is time. Time to say goodbye to the dreads, find out how big the bald patch under them is and how far the grey/white hair has spread...

It seems a shame to waste it, so I'm going to try and extract some money out of you for the Archer Project. According to this video, £255 will allow them to get one homeless person's life back on track:

So, that's my aim. £255 and I cut my dreads off. If I don't make it I'm fairly sure my parents will make up the difference, but it doesn't seem THAT much for such a good cause...

If everyone is really generous though:

£255 - one person helped - the dreads go, and I get to do something with whatever's left
£510 - or 2 people helped - means I get a number 1
£765 - or 3 people - and I go full on shiny bic head

It's up to you...
