My first word - before "mommy" or "daddy" - was "doggie." I was born with a dog and have always lived with a dog. Dogs are descended from wolves so I feel a connection with wolves. Wolves are endangered in North America. As of August, the state of Wisconsin more than doubled the wolf-hunting quota. The Wolf Conservation Center works to save Red and Mexican Gray Wolves. Wolves are a keystone species who help to keep ecosystems in balance. Plus, they are soooooo cute!
