If you know me, you know how much I love my caffeinated beverages and how you can attempt to pry them from my cold dead hands but you will FAIL because my fingers will have seized into claws to clutch the bottle of Coke ever closer to me. Mine! My precious. Diet Coke, Dr Pepper Zero, Diet Cherry Coke, I drink at least 2 litres a day and a couple of coffees as well.  For this challenge (https://h2only.org.uk/) I only drink water for 10 days Sep 13-23 - no coffee, tea, booze, "fizzy drinks" they say on the site but they mean Coke. Oh, Coke. Cooooooke. Goodbye cafetiere and cute little red stovetop coffee pot. I'm really not that bothered about giving up alcohol for 10 days but the black fizz of life is a profound part of my existence.

This will be Very Difficult and a Great Hardship for me, but I will do it, no cheating. Possibly some headaches and sleeping. Outside chance of turning into a zombie. Look out for updates. Possibly increasingly calmer updates.

I'm doing this not because I want to, or out of some urge to challenge myself, but for MONEY! That's right, cash stuff. Coins. Notes. Bank transfers. I'm raising money for the RNLI who are running this national fundraising challenge.
