Fundraising for Railway Benefit Fund
£1,960
raised of £4,000 target

Railway Family Week is week-long fundraising event organised and hosted by the Railway Benefit Fund. The Railway Benefit Fund is the only UK charity solely dedicated to supporting current, former and retired railway people and their families.

Story

IT IS ALMOST TIME FOR THE LONDON MARARTHON - please donate every pound helps.

All year I am raising money for the Railway Benefit Fund. Every 7 minutes someone in the railway family reaches out for support to RBF, and during COVID the challenges have grown. Over 1000 families reached out for support with equipment for home schooling. Last year 600 people needed help paying rent and mortgages due to sickness or challenging personal circumstances - which could happen to any of us.

Please read some of the real stories from people in the railway family and the support they have received from RBF

Over the course of the year I am holding a series of events, which kicked off with Railway Cinema in March, selling limited edition Tom Connell prints in April and culminating in running the London marathon in October. I hugely appreciate any donations large or small, as will RBF.
