Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 2017 · 30 July 2017 ·
In July I’ll be braving eye-watering saddle soreness, ripped
nips, cramping of my beautifully defined calves, who knows what English weather and a 2.3K hill called Leith Hill (yes, sounds like lethal) with a gradient of 12.4% and total height of almost 500 feet as I take on the London 100.
I know I asked for sponsorship this time two years ago, but
if you could see your way to sparing some more cash to help me on my way again I’m raising money for a small local charity that works tirelessly to bring communities together through theatre.
London Bubble Theatre makes theatre intergenerational
- bringing people of all ages together using stories. From 5-7 year olds who struggle with speech and language needs to young people not in employment, education or training to elders living isolated lives in sheltered housing units, Bubble recognises that the most disaffected members of society have stories and skills to share, and use their art to help lift self-esteem and fills an important gap in our society.
While it’s not one of the “big boys” you’d see on the chuggers’
clipboards it’s a new way to invest in community outreach and make a difference to a small charity doing big work.
Thank you in advance for your support. Big love.
