1 in 8 men will get prostate cancer. At Prostate Cancer UK, we’re giving every man the power to navigate it. With over £100 million invested in research, treatment, and care, we’re building a future where prostate cancer no longer cuts men’s lives short. Together, we can help save men’s lives.

Story

I'm running the 2018 Great North Run for Prostate Cancer UK.

Earlier this year I was told I had Prostate Cancer.

So now, AGED 74 I am trying to raise money for the Charity.

I last did the Great North Run 28 years ago and haven't been running since then so I am finding the training 'A BIT TOUGH' but I think the cause is well worth the effort.

Ignoring prostate cancer won't beat it. Prostate Cancer UK has a simple ambition – to stop men dying from prostate cancer. Through shifting the science over the next 10 years we will stop prostate cancer being a killer.
