Story

I am excited to run the 2022 Bank of America Chicago Marathon as part of Team CURE. As someone who has had over 100 grand mal seizures since 2002 (re: fundraising goal of $2,002), I am running my 5th marathon to raise awareness and money to support CURE Epilepsy. CURE's mission is to find a cure for epilepsy by promoting and funding patient-focused research. Please support me and my fellow members of Team CURE by giving a tax-deductible donation to support research in Epilepsy. Thank you so much for your donation, it means more than you know and I am very grateful for your support.

I will be updating this page with my training goals + activities, as well as any seizures I have between now and the race. I have not had a seizure since April 24th, 2021 and my goal is to never have a seizure again in my life.

Here's to my daily mindset of "No more seizures" via a healthier lifestyle, staying active, eating a balanced diet, and getting 8+ hours of sleep every night.
