WHEN CHILDREN ARE DYING, THERE'S NO TIME TO LOSE.

Some facts and figures: 400,000 children were at risk of dying from malnutrition with extensive cop failure and livestock death threatening widespread loss of life. Even before the food crisis, nearly half of all children under 5 were chronically malnoursished which 1 in 6 children not surviving to see their 5th birthday.

Just imagine if someone close to you died before the age of 5 because of malnourishment and there's nothing that you could do. You feel helpless because their life literally rests in the hands of other people who can afford to donate to charity, but instead choose to spend that money on something else. I'm not asking you to donate a large amount, just a few pounds. Surely that won't make a drastic change to your wealth, but will give a child their life. Probably doesn't mean anything to you, but to this child, it's their world.

This charity are trying to raise £250000 to provide emergency medicine in Niger. 19th month old Amina has been suffering in agony with both Malaria and diarrhoea. Struck with povery, her family could not provide her with food. Her mother was perrified as she has lost 2 children before, so please don't let her lose another.

£3 will treat 8 children with life threatening diarrhoea.

£5 will provide a child in Ethopia with a nutritious diet for 100 days.

£10 will buy a weeks worth of malaria treatment for 4 children.
