Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit the JustGiving page set up on behalf of AEG -The O2

AEG - The O2 have entered a team in the Nordoff Robbins Charity Cup- which takes place at Selhurst Park, the home of Crystal Palace FC on the 29th May 2019

The charity depends entirely on the support of people like you to make their work possible.

Music therapy can be used to support people living with a wide range of needs. It can help a child with autism to communicate and reduce anxiety for those living with dementia.

Please donate what you can so we can reach our goal and hopefully beat last years fundraising for this event - we appreciate any donation for this incredible charity!

More information:

We are raising money for Nordoff Robbins, to help vulnerable people access music therapy free of charge. People like Betsy:Betsy was diagnosed with a brain tumour at two years old, and after 18 months of gruelling chemotherapy she was tragically left blind. It's hard to imagine how isolating and scary this must have been for Betsy. Yet music therapy was there to help her flourish in the things she could do. Not only did music teach her coordination and boost her self-esteem, but it provided her crucial relief from the fear and stress of living with cancer at such a young age.Tuesdays used to be a hard day for Betsy, dominated by chemotherapy and health checks. But as her mum Rochelle explains: "now Tuesdays have become Betsy's music day where she has fun, plays music and chats to Oli her therapist"Your donations to Nordoff Robbins will go towards helping more people like Betsy with music therapy, giving even more people in need the gift of music.
