St. Andrew’s Hospice endeavours to provide a high standard of specialist palliative care to the people of Lanarkshire, encompassing human dignity and compassion. As Lanarkshire's only specialist palliative care hospice, we provide multidisciplinary support for our patients, their families and carers. Whilst we receive funding from NHS Lanarkshire and other sources, this only partially covers our running costs. Continued provision of these services is only made possible by the generosity and assistance of the people of Lanarkshire.
The money raised by the Catherine McEwan Foundation is split
between two main causes – Crohn’s & Colitis UK, the national charity,
and the Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity. The Foundation is run by a small group of dedicated volunteers so there are no staffing costs. All the money we raise goes directly to supporting people living with Inflammatory Bowel Diseases.
Charities pay a small fee for our service. Learn more about fees
