OK, we had the walk on the 19th. of May from Worthing to Littlehampton. It was a great day and about 20 of us enjoyed the walk.

The quiz and auction at St. Mary’s church in Worthing the same evening was attended by 50 locals and was a great success. We raised around £1000 in total for 2K Plus.

During the Olympic Festival in July and August there will be 14 journalists working with 2K Plus in London covering several languages including English, French, Arabic, Spanish and Creole. They'll be reporting and interviewing folk involved in sport, officials and visitors, also those involved in the Christian outreach going on during the Games in London. We’re making good progress engaging radio stations around the world who will be taking our output which has the express purpose of reaching the sports fan for Christ.

However, we are still busy raising funds so that our Africa journalist can join us in London. With your help we can get Vivian Dinan (French reporter) and Solomon Ashoms (English reporter) over from Mauritius and South Africa respectively to be part of the team. They’ve been with us on a number of occasions before and therefore know the ropes and are good at what they do. We’re really looking forward to having them use their skills in communicating ‘life’ to sports fans over radio particularly in Africa.
