Marie Curie is here for anyone with an illness they’re likely to die from, and those close to them. Whatever the illness, wherever you are, we’re with you to the end. We bring 75 years of experience and leading research to the care we give you at home, in our hospices and over the phone.

Story

On the 7th July Colin S Macleod from Lewis and Norman Todd from Ullapool are going to attempt to swim the 24 mile North Minch from Orinsay to Rubha Reidh. It is a swim that has never been done before due to the strong tides, adverse weather and cold water temperatures. The swim will take between 15-17 hours with support from boats and kayakers.
