Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am running the Brighton Marathon on April 19th and hope to raise over £500 for Alzheimer Scotland.
Alzheimer Scotland is a charity that is close to my heart. I'm proud to be employed by the organisation and currently work in both East Dunbartonshire and Inverclyde localities. Moreover, my mum (who is living with dementia) benefited for many years from Alzheimer Scotland services such as day care, community groups, and home support. I have witnessed how the person-centered care and support she received helped her live well in her community and enjoy the best possible quality of life.
Every single penny donated to support my marathon fund raiser will go direct to this wonderful charity. With over 90,000 people diagnosed with dementia in Scotland, and that figure set to rise, almost everyone knows someone with dementia. Please support Alzheimer Scotland if you are able to, and help make sure nobody faces dementia alone.
