Story
I'm joining Raise (West Herts Hospitals Charity) in their Super Scanner Cycle Challenge so more patients in and around the county can receive cutting edge pinhole surgery.
I was particularly struck by Mike's story on Raise's website. Mike was rushed into Watford's emergency department after his blood pressure plummeted and he started to lose consciousness. His experience illustrates the importance of having the right equipment and the right team in the right place at the right time, and how the new Interventional Radiology Super Scanner could help save even more lives like his.
Raise needs to raise £695,000 so it can purchase the new scanner. They're 67% of the way there already, so I'm joining the challenge to help raise the rest. Together with others, we're aiming to cycle 10,000 in May, to raise £10,000. So will you sponsor me please? Your generosity will go keep me motivated!
