In brief, since losing our Dad in August 2018 our eyes have been opened to the amazing work that Centrepoint does across the country to help young homeless people, and in particular the team in Barnsley where Dad worked. 

In the past year we've been able to meet people involved in Centrepoint across the country and found ourselves in awe of the passion and determination by everyone involved, and also witnessed the real impact of projects which are made possible by generous donations  - like the recent Learning Hub which was opened in Barnsley by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and named in Dad's memory.

Whilst none of us have experienced homelessness, and we're not really that young anymore either, we've really connected with Centrepoint and owe the charity a great deal, so any support for our Great North Run effort will be appreciated greatly.
