Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am running the Milton Keynes Marathon on 4 May to raise much needed funds for Pancreatic Cancer Action. PCA sponsors a range of activities including research into treatment and especially early diagnosis. This is vital, as missing symptoms until it is too late is a major cause of the appalling death rate from Pancreatic Cancer. I was one of the lucky ones when I was diagnosed in 2012. My tumour was found early enough for me to have brilliant surgery which will hopefully keep me going and running for many years.

Thousands of others every year are not so fortunate and it is for them that I am running. It is also my first marathon and a major personal challenge with which to top off my running over the last eight years. I am lucky to be here, never mind running and I want to show my gratitude. This really is a great and urgent cause, so please let them have a few pounds to continue their brilliant and unsung efforts.

Please pass this on to anyone else who might want to help.

Many thanks  Norman
