Man vs Mountain - Snowdon · 3 September 2016

Motor Neurone Disease moves fast. It takes away time, it takes away independence and it has no cure. Every day we support people affected by MND. We fund ground-breaking research. We campaign for better care. We’re here for everyone who needs us. Because with MND, every day matters.

Story

Norm is running Man v Mountain starting at Caernarfon Castle over the summit of Snowdon and down the other side into Dinorwic Quarry
- 22 miles
- 5055ft of ascent
- there's wild swimming, absailing and mud!
- average finish time is 5.5hrs.

have a look at the video - it's nuts

Norm wants to raise money for the MND Association who do so much to help his brother Derek (diagnosed with MND in 2012 aged 46); its a dreadful illness with no cure.

Norm’s brother Derek is married to Jennette and has two children Megan and Ryan. Derek is on a ventilator, has a 24hr care team at home and speaks with no sound - he's learning eyeglaze. We also want to support research into this dreadful disease so that in the future NOONE dies from this vile illness.

'No finish line til there's a cure' - RUN MND
He's also running:
- Liverpool rock and roll marathon 29th May dressed as an MND punk rocker with Sam Morris dressed as a minion - Norm is carrying a bucket to raise money for his and Sam's fundraising pages...

Please sponsor Norm :-) and Sam (ask Bec for her link)

- on 5th June Norm is running Coniston Half marathon again (it's hilly!)
