North Channel sea swim relays · 14 September 2021

Air Ambulance NI, in partnership with the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS), provides the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) for NI. Serious or life-threatening situations can happen to anyone at any time and on average every day one individual finds themselves in need of AANI.

Story

In September 2021, two North Down relay teams - Muintir na Mara and Team Rocket - will attempt to complete the notorious North Channel sea swim from Donaghadee in Northern Ireland to Portpatrick in Scotland. We will be guided and supported by Infinity Channel Swimming.

We aim to raise money in support of the vital work Air Ambulance Northern Ireland does in providing the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service for the region.
