Northampton Bikers are a group of road cyclists
who have carried out a variety of challenges in the past.  Dr David Smart who has championed Action for
Happiness in Northamptonshire has joined them this year for a mammoth 125-mile cycle around Northamptonshire.   This will start and finish from the beautiful historic Delapre Abbey on 16^th August.

David admits “This will be the furthest we will have cycled in one day and although we have kept fit (and reduced weight in lockdown) it is going to be a very tough challenge with 10-11 hours in the saddle”.

Action for Happiness is a movement of people committed to building a happier and more caring society.  There is an emerging Happy Café Network which will be launched shortly to provide a warm welcome, resources, and courses to improve happiness starting in Northampton over the next month.
