Story

A group of cyclists from Northop Cricket Club better known as Northop Old Boy’s (NOBs) will take on another big challenge on June 16th & 17th 2018 in support of Cancer Research UK

The NOBs Team is:

Stu Askey, Steve Williams, Kev Blackwell, Rich Cowley, John Atkins, Simon Littler, Graham Lloyd-Roberts, Chris Jones, Trevor Tommy, Mark Sudder and Jason Pope.

Joining the ride in parts also over the two days will be Paul Penrhyn-Jones & Mark Farrell and on support team/back up van is Mike Hughes and Colin Nicholson with Andy Taylor -Jones our team photographer.

The challenge is to ride to all North Wales Cricket League Premiership clubs – a total of 210 miles and 12,000ft of climb over the 2 days.

Starting at their home club Northop on day 1 riding out to Pwllheli via Connah’s Quay, Hawarden, Gresford, Brymbo and Chirk - some 110 miles and over 7,000ft of climbing.

After a well deserved overnight rest in Pwllheli they head back along the North Wales coast to Menai Bridge, Bangor, Llandudno, St. Asaph and Denbigh before arriving back at Northop on Sunday evening for a well-earned beer!
