The North West ChildLine Ball 2014 · 1 March 2014

ChildLine is the UK's free and confidential, 24 hour helpline for children in distress or danger. Trained volunteer counsellors comfort, advise, support and protect children and young people who may feel they have nowhere else to turn. Children call ChildLine about a wide range of problems, but the most common problems are abuse (both sexual and physical), bullying, serious family tensions, worries about friends' welfare and teenage pregnancy. Children and young people can call ChildLine about anything – no problem is too big or too small. ChildLine is a service provided by the NSPCC

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page for the North West ChildLine Ball 2014.

The 11th North West ChildLine Ball took place on Saturday 1st March at the Hilton Deansgate, Manchester. Following on from the success of the 2013 ChildLine Ball where £150,000 in profit was raised our aim was to try and beat this amount once again. We are really pleased to report that over £237,000 in profit was raised at the Ball. Enough to train 148 ChildLine Counsellors or to answer 59,250 calls from vulnerable children and young people living in the North West.

This has turned the ChildLine Ball into the number one Charity Ball in the North West and the Ball that everyone wants to be at. Tables for next year's Ball, on Saturday 7th March, are selling out fast, so, if you're interested in attending then please make contact with the local NSPCC Fundraising Office at; northwestappeals@nspcc.org.uk

Our fundraising target for next year is set at £250,000 and we are confident we can do this with your help. So, please dig deep and start the money coming in for 2015!

Many thanks
