2nd Annual Cruise for Cancer - a fundraising snowmobile ride benefiting Northwoods cancer patients.  Ed and I moved to the Northwoods June 1, 2017 - that same day I received a breast cancer diagnosis.  We made the decision to stay and receive medical care in our new home rather than return to St. Louis -  our home for over 30 years with known medical care. What we found was : compassion, caring, knowledge and all the medical care right in our backyard.  Our first event raised over $10,000!  We have local residents and friends sharing their stories of cancer and how the local MCHS system was there for them and what they received from the Cancer Care Fund.  I received medical supplies and educational materials from the Northwoods Cancer Care Fund - now we are continuing our efforts to make sure all cancer patients in the Northwoods  benefit from this fund. Please consider participating in this event as a volunteer, a sponsor, a donor, or a rider.  The event will have raffles, silent auctions and 50/50 raffles!  Share your time as we ride through the Northwoods giving back!
