At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

As you all know, the London Marathon has been a bit of a thing for me for the last three years, raising money for three different charities. And this year, after not getting a ballot place, I applied to the Alzheimer’s Society for a charity place, as my dad was diagnosed with dementia in 2018.

But it was a no. So after being gutted for a bit, I thought ‘Do you know what, I’m going to run a marathon anyway!'

So.... on Sunday April 28th, 2019 (which is London marathon day), I’m going to run a marathon, starting at my front door and finishing at my front door, to raise money for The Alzheimer’s Society in Buckinghamshire.

I would be grateful for any donations that you could give me, in order to raise valuable funds for this charity, which has already given me and my family a lot of support.
