Story

Sean passed away 01/09/2019 from bladder cancer, just 15 months after diagnosis.

He wanted to raise awareness and help others in similar situations.

He wrote the following;
Back in May of 2018 I was diagnosed as having advanced bladder cancer, which has spread to the pelvic bones and spine.

I am receiving palliative treatment with the goal of extending life, currently undergoing treatment on a medical trial for the Immunotherapy drug Atezolizomab.

The Macmillan Cancer Support nurses have - in the short time I have had contact with them - already proven themselves invaluable. They have been very easy to speak with, very knowledgable, sensitive and professional. I already owe them my thanks for the few visitation and calls I have had so far.
