Mount Toubkal · 7 September 2022
Six Firefighters from across Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service will be climbing Mount Toubkal in September to raise much needed funds for the Fire Fighters Charity. This group of Firefighters wanted to take part in an active challenge as well as wanting to raise money for a cause close to their hearts.
Located in the Atlas Mountains, Mount Toubkal is the highest peak in North Africa: standing at 4,167m tall.
The Firefighters have already started training to ensure they're ready for this climb in September. The climb will last for five days, and they will be camping whilst completing the climb.
Not only are we asking people to donate, but over the next few months there will be various fundraising activities to help achieve the target.
The Fire Fighters Charity is the charity they are climbing for, however they would love to raise money for another charity once they have reached this target.
The Fire Fighters Charity supports the mental, physical and social needs of all service and retired members of the UK's fire family.
Thank you for taking the time to read our page and for donating, you don't understand how much this means to us. We will be posting updates of our training, and journey, so you can be a part of this with us.
