Story

We (Sophie, Jemma, Jodie and Beki) are going to walk 50km in the Chilterns to raise money for Jessie May on September 23rd. Jessie May are a wonderful specialist team who supported a very close friends family and their daughter Alba, whose incredible spirit burnt strong and touched so many lives. Alba was born with a very rare and complex condition which meant she needed 24 hour care. Her incredible parents were supported by lots of charities and Jessie May’s team provided knowledgable, kind and caring nursing team who helped them during the day with Alba’s care and continue to support them despite Alba passing away just before her 3rd birthday. They played such a vital role and became so close to the family, three of her favourite carers spoke at her funeral. We will always remember Alba and we wanted to help support this amazing charity that do such wonderful work. We hope you can cheer us on by helping us reach our target to enable this team to keep helping other families.
