We provide support to bereaved British Forces Children

Story

We are holding an open day on Wednesday 4th May and our learners wanted to use the day not only to show new learners around but also to raise some money for a great cause.

The learners decided to cycle 100 miles (equivalent Kings Lynn to London) and have borrowed an exercise bike from Just4YouFitness, a local gym to the centre.

Nova Training is an alternative to college for 16-19 year olds. Our learners can work on their English, maths and Employability skills, as well as taking part in valuable work experience. We also work on soft skills, including confidence building, social skills, conflict resolution and teamwork.

About the charity

Scotty’s Little Soldiers is a charity dedicated to supporting children & young people who have experienced the death of a parent who served in the British Armed Forces. A range of programmes are provided to support their bereavement needs, well-being, education and development.
