NTA Virtual Walk from Land's End to John O'Groats 2022

NTA Virtual Walk from Land's End to John O'Groats 2022 · 20 June 2022
Northern Training Academy are proud to be partnering with Alder Hey Children's Charity to raise vital funds to sponsor a family visit room at the new Mental Health Hub being built at Alder Hey Children's Hospital to ensure young patients with the most challenging and enduring mental health conditions are cared for as part of their 7 in 10 campaign.
There are 14 of us from Northern Training Academy who have chosen to walk the 979.8 miles from Land's End to John O’Groats virtually as a team!
That is a total of 2,299,172 steps!
We are starting on Monday 20th June 2022 and we are giving ourselves 6 weeks to make it to John O’Groats!
We will be posting updates on our social media pages and on Just Giving to let you know how we are getting on and where we are on our virtual journey!
We hope you will sponsor us to help us raise these vital funds for Alder Hey Children's Charity as we know that 7 in 10 children with mental health difficulties do not have access to the support they need early enough. To address this problem, Alder Hey Children's Hospital is building a bespoke Mental Health Hub that will help us to care for the most vulnerable young patients and change the future of children's mental health.
Alder Hey's new Mental Health Hub presents a crucial, once-in-a generation opportunity to shape the way we look after children and young people with mental health conditions in the North West and beyond. With the support of our generous donors, we can ensure that children with the most complex and challenging mental health conditions are cared for in the very best environment that will support their journey to recovery and rehabilitation back into their communities.
