On Sunday 24 October 2010, five members of the National Traffic Control Centre will be running the EDF Energy Birmingham Half Marathon for Acorns Children's Hospice.

Acorns Children's Hospice cares for children and young people who have life limiting and life threatening conditions across the heart of England. This means they are unlikely to reach adulthood as a cure for their condition cannot be found.
