We are taking up the challenge to walk the 400 mile Portuguese Camino in July this year to support the amazing charity Suicide Awareness & Support Group. This charity is local and offers a very wide range of services to families bereaved by suicide or anyone going through a suicidal crisis themselves. They also provide counselling, complimentary therapy and training to various groups. Although some funds are received from PHA the group heavily relies on fundraising to carry out their crucial services and are currently helping between 80 to 100 people per week through one to one or family counselling. Their success rate is amazing and very heart warming.

We have been inspired and motivated to take up this challenge when we were made aware of the exceptional help and support this charity provides. 

Our aim is to start the 400 mile challenge on 4 July this year from Lisbon in Portugal and to finish in Santiago de Compostela in Spain on 3 August. Some daily walks can be up to 22 miles and will range over a 29 day period. 

We will be delighted if you could help us raise as much as possible for this very worthy and much needed charity to enable them to continue offering their crucial services.
