In 5 weeks we lost three good friends & ex-colleagues to COVID-19, they were all young & dedicated nurses. It was devastating, so I am firstly doing this challenge in memory of them.

I’m also doing it in homage to my amazing research team who have worked (& are working) tirelessly finding treatments & vaccines for this dreadful virus. They are amazingly resilient & keep eachother laughing constantly.

Working through this pandemic has been exhausting & it’s not going away any time soon. Sometimes people need an extra bit of help & that is the premise of the white rose appeal.
