Salam. Those of you that know my little chatterbox, Nusaybah, will be surprised to hear that she has decided to do a sponsored silence. Nusaybah is trying to raise money for SMT's Hospital Project and is hoping to help as many people as possible to access healthcare.

SMT Welfare Hospital has a 24/7 Urgent Care Service for pregnant mothers, women and children. We go to great lengths to ensure our medical care meets international standards and we make patient safety and satisfaction our priority. In addition, we offer our services to patients at subsidised rates. Patients, who cannot pay and meet our eligibility criteria, can receive welfare support, which is in place to ensure that our quality services are accessible to all members of society.Save the Mothers Trust sets up regular camps both at our hospital in the North West Province of Pakistan and also in the more remote areas. This is to provide FREE eye tests and cataract surgery to the poor and needy.Save The Mothers Trust opened a Thalassemia Centre in March 2010, SMT aims to achieve quality-assured blood transfusions & provide a good standard of medical care. SMT has commenced this journey with very few assets but many hopes.
