So why are we raising money for this charity?

Well recently John Aston has been diagnosed with incurable brain tumours (Glioblastoma). This came as a shock to all of us as there were very few warning signs up until recently.

Although surgery has removed a large amount of the tumours, unfortunately this type of cancer is very aggressive and will continue to grow.

John will be starting a course of treatment to help target the remaining tumours and to reduce his symptoms, however, his prognosis has come as even more of a shock, being told by his specialist that the average life expectancy is approximately 12-14 months. Which of course has been devastating for him and all those that love and care for him.

John is a very strong and positive person and the first aim is to prove the specialist wrong! He would like life to carry on as normal with his family and friends.

Fundraising for this charity will help raise awareness of possible symptoms, fund research and hopefully find a cure for all.

Please donate generously to help support us all and a very worthy charity. Thank you.
