Story

The objective is to form Nyanga North High School (NNHS) a school affiliated to GRJ (Guta RaJehovha) church.  This will be a modern high school in a rural poor area and we want the youth to be educated to very high standards. This school will temporarily use the four classrooms that are on the local primary school (Sabvure Primary School) and we want to open our doors for our first group of students in January 2017. Teachers will be paid by the Ministry Of Education but we might also give them some incentives to motivate them to work harder. Please help us raise money to build the first four Science laboratories for the school which will make it the first and only school with Science laboratories in the area.  Among other things the this new school will:

- Be a day-school that also offers boarding facilities in future

- Freely educate all of the orphans which Sub-Saharan Children's Hope Trust is looking after.

- Use both renewal energy (solar and biogas) and electricity.

- Use VSAT (Very Small Aperture Terminal) for its internet broadband and other communication systems.

- Have a vocational wing that will educate all the young adults in skills like carpentry, sewing, music, metal work, jewellery, etc. It will be one of the first of its type in the whole of Nyanga district

- Offer places from Form 1 to 6 (Year 7 to Upper 6)

- Offer both syllabi; the University of Cambridge and ZIMSEC (Zimbabwe Schools Examination Council)

- Have a wing that will educate students with learning difficulties

- Accomodate Nyanga North Educational Resource Centre, a place where all the schools in the district would come for their resources. This will be one of the first centre of its type in the whole province.
