Oakwood's Sky Dive Fundraiser for CAFT

Oakwood's Sky Dive Fundraiser for CAFT · 2 October 2022
They Did it!!
On Sunday 2nd October 2022, a team from Oakwood took part in a tandem skydive to raise much-needed funds for The Children’s Adventure Farm Trust (CAFT). They bravely upgraded to jump out of an aircraft flying at 15,000 ft rather than 10,000ft and then “freeflew” at over 120mph for several thousand feet!
Thank you so so much to everyone who has donated so far, we will leave this page open for another week or so for anyone who wishes to donate after the event.
CAFT provides a variety of free programmes for terminally ill, disabled and disadvantaged children from all over the North West. The needs of the children visiting the charity are complex and range from severe physical and learning disabilities, sensory impairments and terminal illnesses.
Day-to-day, CAFT is a place for fun and laughter for those in need. They pride themselves in bringing a little sunshine into the lives of children who have known terrible hardships at an early age.
