Laps to Lapland is the Oakwood PTA's virtual sponsored race running through out November 2020.

We're having to rethink how we fundraise for our school this year so we decided to launch a virtual run/walk/scoot/cycle and invite all our pupils and parents to take part.  Please dig deep and sponsor them for all their efforts to help us replace funds we would have raised through our normal activities! 

Our pupils will be taking part in their family bubble's in their own time and registering their run, walk, scoot or cycle on our events page https://www.pta-events.co.uk/oakwoodpta. We'll add up the combined totals to see if together we can make it all the way to Lapland!  With regular progress reports we'll also have a class leaderboard so we can see which classes are travelling the furthest and fastest!

And parents can get in on the action too!  Just make a donation on our Just Giving page and register 10k for your run, walk or cycle to count towards our total.  

Everyone that takes part by running, walking, scooting or cycling will also receive a certificate at the end of our virtual race!
