Syed Akram is back for the third time! Our amazing runner is rising up to the challenge once more as he embarks on a journey to Najaf and runs 85km in 14 hours to Karbala this Arbaeen for Noor Orphans Fund. And yes, its all for orphans.

Story

"The most generous of people is the one who gives to those from who he has no hope of return". Imam Hussain a.s. Lots of training goes into running 85km. It needs endurance, psychological conditioning and a positive mental attitude. Syed Akram has been prepping for the last few months - everything from his diet to his daily training sessions have been building up to this event. He hopes to raise £85,000 (£1000 per km) for the NCEE (Noor Centre for Educational Excellence) for orphans and widows in Karbala. For children who have lost their hope and their breadwinner this school will provide orphans with an excellent education as well as vocational training for older children and widows. You can choose the length you want to sponsor - whether its 10km or half a kilometre - no distance is too small! In the names of the orphans of Imam Hussain (a.s.) - Rukaiya, Sukaina and Ali Asgher - lets motivate him together during his heavy training sessions - together we can achieve this goal!
